Wilde Games, LLC is a Vermont based company started by Martin and Sarah Wilde, a young couple from distant, yet common backgrounds. Sarah was raised in Vermont, Martin in Sweden. Despite the geographical divide they found many common threads within their cultures. Simplicity, authentic design, distinctive workmanship, an appreciation for hard work and quality time spent outside with friends and family, to name a few.
VKing is a their take on a Swedish lawn game combining classic Swedish design with quality Vermont craftsmanship. VKing is inspired by a centuries old Swedish game that dates back to the time of the Vikings. It can be played almost anywhere outdoors and requires very little set up. It is the perfect game for families and friends and can be enjoyed by all ages.
Wilde Games, LLC. is dedicated to socially responsible and eco-conscious business practices. We strive to be environmentally conscious throughout our production process. All game pieces are shaped from northern hardwoods sourced from a regional supplier decreasing transportation distances and fuel usage. No paint, glues, stains, dyes or other chemicals are added to the wood. Your VKing set comes with a sturdy cotton canvas storage bag (printed with environmentally friendly, non-phthalate, non-PVC Plastisol ink) that can double as a tote, grocery sack or shopping bag. To avoid excess packaging VKing comes in a custom recycled cardboard box. Great care is taken to be environmentally aware so that there will continue to be beautiful outdoor spaces for generations to come to enjoy VKing
with family and friends.
